October is Cyber Security Awareness Month in Canada. This year’s theme is “Fight phishing: ruin a cyber criminals day”. Cyber criminals spend their days trying to trick us into giving up our personal information, tamper with our devices and even steal our identities.

This October, we can learn more about spotting phishing messages, and take simple steps to protect ourselves from phishing. Let’s help make phishing scams less appealing to criminals— and that just might ruin their day.
