Occupational Health and Safety week will take place May 1 – 6, 2023. This is an ideal time for employers, employees, partners and the public to focus on the importance of preventing injury and illness in the workplace, at home and in the community.

This year’s focus is on protective footwear and how having the proper footwear can prevent musculoskeletal disorders.

Stride Footwear will be on site for two days of the week (May 4 and 5) to discuss the importance of proper footwear, provide demonstrations and the awareness of when it is time to change your footwear. Your JOHSC representatives will be at the booth at the bottom of the Grand Staircase over the lunch hour (11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) throughout the week for questions and conversations.

At the end of the week there will be draw for a gift basket – pop by the booth to submit your name for the chance to win!
