We are delighted to announce that Dr. Gala Prado Miranda has joined the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre as a full-time Neurologist in the Department of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Prado Miranda graduated from the General Hospital of Mexico in Mexico City and subsequently moved to complete a three-year Clinical and Research Fellowship in Movement Disorders at Western University in London, Ontario.
Dr. Prado Miranda’s specialized training has equipped her with extensive expertise in the management of Parkinson’s Disease, with a particular focus on cutting-edge therapeutic advances such as Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), subcutaneous foslevodopa, and other advanced treatment modalities. We are excited to have her on board and look forward to the contributions she will make to our team and the patients we serve.
