A Strategic Plan clearly lays out a meaningful and achievable future state. The Strategic Plan 2026 will be a bold and innovative plan to guide our Hospital and Health Research Institute for the next five years – and we need your ideas to help shape it.

About the Facilitators:

Erik Lockhart is the President of Lockhart Facilitation and Associate Director of the Queen’s Executive Decision Centre (QEDC). Erik has been facilitating strategic planning for over 25 years. He has plenty of experience in the North and has collaborated with NOSM through three strategic planning cycles over the last twelve years, conducted stakeholder engagement for Health Sciences North’s strategic planning, and facilitated TBRHSC’s development TORQ strategic plan (2006-2007). Using ‘group decision support technology,’ Erik has led over 2350 sessions for multi-stakeholder groups undertaking strategic plans, community consultations, marketing plans, risk assessments, stakeholder analysis, and organization redesign.

Dr. Peter Richardson has been teaching strategy and change courses in the Queen’s University School of Business and Executive MBA programs. He has been consulting in strategic planning worldwide for 40 years and co-authored a book with his wife about Organizational Change. Erik and Peter have collaborated on many strategy assignments across the country, and we are thrilled to have their support to develop our next strategic plan.
