I am pleased to announce the appointment of Sheri Maltais as Quality Improvement and Accreditation Lead. Sheri began her new position with Quality and Risk Management on May 31, 2021.

Sheri brings to our organization vast experience, having worked most recently as Performance Improvement Consultant with Strategy and Performance Management. Sheri is a dietician with over 10 years of experience. She has worked in many centres such as Mount Sinai, Toronto, Vancouver General Hospital and TBRHSC. Sheri holds a Masters in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety from IHPME, University of Toronto.

In this role, Sheri will be supporting the roll out of TBRHSC’s Cardiovascular Sciences quality improvement (QI) program in alignment with University Hospitals Network and coordinate accreditation activities leading up to the on-site visit in May 2022.
