Pay Day Moved from September 30th to September 29th

As you may be aware, the federal government recently passed legislation to make September 30th a federal statutory holiday in observance of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

All federally regulated workplaces (such as the federal government, banks, post offices, etc.) will be closed on September 30th in order to observe this new holiday. As a result of these closures, all employees will be paid one day earlier on WednesdaySeptember 29th instead of the regularly scheduled pay day of Thursday, September 30th.
