Announcement: Supervisor, Security & Switchboard

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Christian Nielsen as the Supervisor, Security and Switchboard, effective September 12, 2022.

At this time, the Switchboard department remains under the management of Trina Diner with plans to transition the department to function alongside Emergency Preparedness, Security, and Parking this fall (at which time Christian will assume a supervisory role). There will be hospital wide communication once this transition is complete.

Christian is well known to many staff, having been the Security site supervisor with Garda World since 2019. Last summer Christian worked for the hospital in a temporary position as the Lead, Security Services. Prior to working with Garda, Christian was an Ambulance Communication Officer with the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care. With diplomas in Law and Security Administration as well as Police Foundations, Christian will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to his new role.
