Christina Best, of Capreol, Ontario brought home $10,000 thanks to the Bonus Draw of the December Thunder Bay 50/50 this morning. She purchased her tickets yesterday, after hearing about the draw from her mother in law.
“After receiving the phone call that I had just won $10,000, I could not believe it! I started crying when I hung up the phone. My hubby and I are so excited that we will be able to catch up on our bills as the pandemic hasn’t been easy on our family, and we still wanted to give our kids Christmas magic!” says Christina.
Tickets for the December Jackpot are still open until tomorrow at midnight
It’s the last chance to purchase tickets for the December Thunder Bay 50/50 December draw, and the jackpot is currently over $2 Million — officially the largest take-home prize since the draw’s inception earlier this year. The grand prize draw is happening on Friday, December 31, with ticket sales open until tomorrow at midnight.
