We are pleased to announce that effective October 1, Thunder Bay Counseling will be the new Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) provider for Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre (TBRHSC).
Thunder Bay Counseling offers a range of support services designed to assist our employees and their families with personal and professional challenges. Their experienced team is dedicated to providing confidential, compassionate care tailored to individual needs.
During this transition phase those that are active clients of Behavioural Sciences Centre (BSC) who have accessed services within the last three months, will be able to continue their sessions with their current therapist until closure date (October 31, 2024) with support for transition to a new therapist if needed.
Any employee or eligible dependent that is a new client may access EFAP through BSC until September 30, 2024. BSC can be reached at the following numbers and website:

As of October 1, 2024 employees and eligible dependents can access EFAP through our new service provider Thunder Bay Counselling (TBC). TBC can be reached at the following numbers and website:
