Retirement Wishes to Sharon Howk-Ventrudo

Shared on behalf of Kelly Keeler, Manager, Medical Transitions Clinic, Internal Medicine Clinics (CHF/COPD/Anticoagulation), Complex Care Diabetes Centre, Regional Bariatric Care Centre, Paediatric Healthy Living & Telemedicine

We would like to wish this exceptional lady the best of luck as she continues to write the chapters in her book of life.

Sharon Howk-Ventrudo is a registered clinical and health psychologist that has worked in the field since 1992. She graduated with her Maser of Arts degree in clinical psychology from Lakehead University and became registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.

She has been working in hospital-based programs for the last 32 years providing outpatient psychotherapy in general community mental health and chronic disease management.

Sharon has spent the last 12 years working at the Centre for Complex Diabetes Care where she has shared her wisdom, knowledge, and expertise with the team and her patients. Perhaps one of the most noted attributes she has amongst many is her kindness. She has improved the well-being of her patients through her gentle, caring, and helpful nature.

Sharon has been the heart and soul of the CCDC team for the past 12 years. Her retirement is bittersweet, but she has earned every moment of it. She is a colleague that is a dear friend to all and will be missed dearly.

May the next chapters of your book bring you adventures, joy, and relaxation. Never underestimate how much you have touched the lives of others.

Sharon’s last day will be May 31, 2024. Please wish her well.
