Please join me in congratulating Lisa Beck on her upcoming retirement. Lisa’s last day will be May 26, 2023.

In her over 33 of years of service, Lisa’s skills, attention to detail and ability to develop new ideas; in addition to her knowledge and experience make her highly valued amongst leaders. She has been a go to person throughout her career mentoring many staff, leaders and physicians.

Lisa has lead many projects and quality improvement initiatives such as Pay for Results (P4R), Emergency Return Visit Quality Program, Regional Critical Care Response (RCCR), Neuro Education Outreach Network and other Provincial Critical Care and ED strategies.

Lisa has brought a wealth of knowledge, clinical expertise and has worked tirelessly over the years with a constant quest of improving access and quality of care for all patients. She has been committed to excellence in the delivery of evidence-based care and professional practice.

Throughout her career she has presented at many provincial, national and international conferences and is published author in the Journal of Canadian Association Critical Care Nurses. Her involvement and ability to advocate for services in the North on several provincial committees will be missed.

As previously communicated, Chad Johnson will assume the role of Director, Trauma & Prehospital Programs, Critical Care, Emergency, Respiratory Services & Nurse Led Outreach Team upon her retirement.

Please join me in wishing Lisa all the best in her retirement, enjoying well deserved time with family and friends.
