Palliative Care ECHO Series (September 27)

Supporting Journeys to the Spirit World: Embracing a Two-Eyed Seeing Approach to Caring for Indigenous Peoples


The series will be exploring Indigenous and Westernized ways of knowing in caring for Indigenous Peoples who are seriously ill and access to current resources and tools available to support you. You are invited to bring real patient cases to a session to help explore challenges and strengths to care with the interdisciplinary hub team and your peers.

This series will be held on Tuesdays, from September 27th to November 8th, 7:00pm – 8:30pm ET via Zoom.

*Please note that registration is a 2-step process. You must first register for the ECHO platform, and then sign up for the series. This one-credit-per-hour Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by the Continuing Education and Professional Development Office at NOSM University for up to 9 Mainpro+ credit(s). This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the Continuing Education and Professional Development Office at NOSM University.
