The role of the Physiotherapist Assistant (PTA) is to deliver physiotherapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physiotherapist (PT). PTAs deliver many components of physiotherapy services, collect data regarding treatment interventions, and work as a team with the PT to help people gain their maximal level of function to improve their quality of life.
